Sanibona Macabuzela Foundation was established in 2014 as a hobby but later in 2016 was officially registered with South Africa Social welfare Agency. We are excited to announce that as from now onwards we are welcoming volunteers who are willing to work hand in hand with the different communities within the region. Work and interact with local people in different projects including education, agricultural activities, environmental issues (zero waste). Support local teachers at our local primary schools and high schools, empowering them with skills to better educate their students or learners on the impact of education. Support the local clinics by working with nurses and doctors combining international and local experiences to combat the dieses. Become part of a rural community that is working together on culturally responsible and contextual solutions. You have an opportunity to visit the unknown Hluhluwe Imfolozi National Park which is the oldest proclaimed reserve in Africa with the highest chances of spotting some of the most endangered beasts.



We provide basic accommodation at Mbonise cultural concept which is a family homestead. Mbonise means “show him/her”. Stay with the family, share experiences while getting to know more about the area, Zulu culture and South Africa cultures as a country. There is a minimal fee that covers meals and accommodation.
